Shipping Method Terms/Definitions.


We offer a range of different shipping methods to allow you to select the best option for your needs.  Below we have listed the specific details of each service.

Please read the definitions of each service to ensure you choose the best shipping service for your needs.

Parcelforce Next Working Day After Despatch -     

Parcelforce next working day (Express 24) is normally due the following working day after the despatch from us. Depending on the time of day that the order is received and processed by us, the order may leave the same day or following working day. Generally, orders placed before noon are shipped that day (assuming the day is a working day).  Orders placed after noon, or on a non working day, will be shipped on the following working day. Working days are generally classed as Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (excluding public and bank holidays).  Whilst we are happy to apply any specific delivery instructions and or safe place information to your parcel, this does not guarantee that the delivery driver will follow these notes.  Whilst most couriers will follow the information (as it makes life easier for them), it is worth noting that the driver is only officially contracted to deliver, or attempt to deliver, to the address on the shipping label.

Parcelforce 2 Working Days From Despatch -   

This Parcelforce service (Express 48) aims to deliver 2 working days after despatch. Depending on the time of day that the order is received and processed by us, the order may leave that day or the following working day.  Generally, orders placed before noon are shipped that day (assuming the day is a working day).  Orders placed after noon, or on a non working day, will be shipped on the following working day. Working days are generally classed as Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (excluding public and bank holidays).  Whilst we are happy to apply any specific delivery instructions and or safe place information to your parcel, this does not guarantee that the delivery driver will follow these notes.  Whilst most couriers will follow the information (as it makes life easier for them), it is worth noting that the driver is only officially contracted to deliver, or attempt to deliver, to the address on the shipping label.

Hermes Approximately 3-4 Working Day -    

Hermes aim (not guarantee) to deliver within 3-4 working days after despatch. Although Hermes aim to deliver within this timeframe it is possible that the parcel could take longer than 4 working days to arrive.  If you require your item urgently or have a time constraint, we suggest using Parcelforce next working day or Parcelforce two working day delivery (see above).  The Hermes service offers great value for small to medium sized non urgent items.  Depending on the time of day that the order is received and processed by us, the order may leave the same day or following working day. Royal Mail 1-3 Working Days (1st Class Post)   

Royal mail aim to deliver these items within 1-3 days from despatch (excluding Sundays). Free Delivery or collect from store
All our courses and guided dives are marked for free delivery as the buyer comes to us. We are able to arrange pickup points but these are discussed outside the remit of the shops facilities.

Royal Mail Airmail -    

This Royal Mail service is for parcels and packets going to overseas locations. Royal Mail aim to deliver these items in approx 5 working days. Royal Mail do not treat items on this service as either missing or late until 15 working days after the initial 5 working days has passed. With past orders we have found that most items take about a week to arrive and that the larger and heavier the item(s) are, the more likely they are to take slightly longer.  Whilst we are happy to apply any specific delivery instructions and or safe place information to your parcel, this does not guarantee that the delivery driver will follow these notes.  Whilst most couriers will follow the information (as it makes life easier for them) it is worth noting that the driver is only officially contracted to deliver/attempt to deliver to the address on the shipping label.

Parcelforce (Overseas Delivery) -

This Parcelforce service is for larger/heavier parcels and packets going to overseas locations. Parcelforce and their colleagues in your local area aim to deliver these items in the time frame specified on screen when you select the service (varies by destination). Although Parcelforce try their best to deliver within the timeframe given, please note that due to airlines/customs and other factors outside of their control, neither we nor they can be held responsible if a parcel takes longer than planned.  Whilst we are happy to apply any specific delivery instructions and or safe place information to your parcel, this does not guarantee that the delivery driver will follow these notes.  Whilst most couriers will follow the information (as it makes life easier for them) it is worth noting that the driver is only officially contracted to deliver/attempt to deliver to the address on the shipping label.

General Information For Highlands & Islands Addresses

Please note that any delivery (on any service) going to an address that is classed as "Highlands & Islands" can take additional time to arrive.

The following postcodes are classed as Highlands & Islands :

IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE, BT, IM, TR21-25

General Information

Each time you add an item to your shopping cart your "cart" is updated with this item.  By clicking on the "shopping basket" link in the header you can view your basket and apply any vouchers/discount codes.  You are also able to enter some basic details to obtain shipping quotes and options.

We aim to despatch orders either the same working day or the next working day, depending on the time at which the order is placed.

Our website is linked to our shop stock control system.  This allows us to display accurate stock availbility on our product screens.  Although we pride ourselves in keeping these records accurate, from time to time due to theft in store or damaged items or human error,  on very rare occasions our records could be wrong.  If any item is found to be out of stock we will contact you at the soonest possible time to let you know and discuss the best way forward. 

We reserve the right to amend the type of delivery service used. On occasions, the packing materials or the packed parcel size necessitate a particular type of despatch best suited to the items. We try our best to ensure any such changes do not affect the orders expected arrival time. In most cases these changes result in a parcel leaving by a quicker delivery method.
