Spearfishing & Freediving liability release

By Clicking accept I do hereby declare that I am are aware that the activities operated by Snowdonia Spearfishing have inherent risks, which may result in serious injury or death. I still choose to participate in the activities with Snowdonia Spearfishing. I hereby acknowledge that spearfishing and underwater foraging has inherent risks, I have been made aware of these risks and by signing this waiver I release Snowdonia Spearfishing its instructors and any other student participating in the course from all liability. I understand and agree that neither my instructor nor AIDA International, nor any of their respective employees, officers, agents, contractors or assigns (herein after referred to as the “Released Parties”) may be held liable or responsible in any way for any injury, death or other damages to me, my family, estate, heirs or assigns that may occur as a result of my participation in activities with AIDA International, Snowdonia Spearfishing or as a result of the negligence of any party, including the Released Parties and other students, whether passive or active. I hereby personally assume all risks of the experience, whether foreseen or unforeseen, that may befall me while I am participating in any activity with Snowdonia Spearfishing. In consideration of Snowdonia Spearfishing allowing me to participate in any activity, I hereby personally assume all risks of the experience, whether foreseen or unforeseen, that may befall me while I am under the instruction of Snowdonia Spearfishing. I am aware that Snowdonia Spearfishing instructors are fully qualified with AIDA International for Freediving & Snorkelling, and are fully insured as Freediving and snorkelling Instructors and guides. Transport during the day is not included in the course, and if Snowdonia Spearfishing are required to visit more than one site I may need to drive my own vehicle. The Snowdonia Spearfishing vehicle does however have seating for 4 people and if I wish to, I may accompany the driver in said vehicle for free. This option is taken at my own risk. In consideration of Snowdonia Spearfishing allowing me to accept transport given by themselves, I hereby personally assume all risks of the experience, whether foreseen or unforeseen, that may befall me while I am under the care of Snowdonia Spearfishing. I declare that I am in good mental and physical fitness for freediving and that I am not under the influence of alcohol, nor am I under the influence of any drugs that are contraindicatory to taking part in any of the activities offered. I declare that if requested as a result of completion of the AIDA Medical Statement, I have seen a physician and have approval to take part in any activity offered by Snowdonia Spearfishing. I further declare that I am of lawful age and legally competent to agree to this liability release. I understand the terms herein are contractual and not a mere recital, and that I have agreed to this document as my own free act and with the knowledge that I hereby agree to waive my legal rights. I further agree that if any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid that provision shall be severed from this Agreement. The remainder of this Agreement will then be construed as though the unenforceable provision had never been contained therein.

You will also be required to sign a paper version of this liability form on the day of the course activity failure to do so will result in a non refundable exclusion from the activity.
